Individuals

Individual counselling offers a steady, confidential space to slow down and gently make sense of what feels overwhelming. You may be carrying anxiety that won’t settle. You may feel reactive in your relationship, or completely shut down. You may be exhausted from holding it together at work. Or you may simply know something in your life isn’t working the way it used to.

 

You don’t have to face that alone.

I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, self-worth struggles, or major life transitions. I also work with first responders experiencing cumulative stress, burnout, or emotional shutdown, and partners of first responders who might feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or unseen. 

​

My work is grounded in the understanding that symptoms make sense in the context of your history.

Anxiety, irritability, numbness, over-functioning, or shutting down are not character flaws, they are often protective adaptations shaped by your nervous system.

 

I integrate Somatic Experiencing and other evidence-based modalities to support nervous system regulation, processing of trauma and chronic stress, increased emotional capacity, healthier boundaries and communication, and greater self-compassion. â€‹ Rather than pushing you to relive painful experiences, we move at a pace that feels manageable. We pay attention to your body’s cues and build safety first.

Healing happens in relationship — and the therapeutic relationship itself becomes a place to experience steadiness, respect, and attuned support.
